Setting Goals To Be The Best “You” Possible

I was recently lucky enough to receive a gift from someone that I can honestly say is a life changer. A game changer at the very least.  Most of the time we hear this and it usually refers to a piece of advice someone was given.

This was an actual, tangible item that I can hold and look at every day to help me continue to be a better person, and, in turn, help others to be better themselves. I am thankful for the opportunity to share a bit of myself with you in hopes that you can take something positive away with you, and continue the cycle of improving yourself in order to help others. Because that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?

Please take a moment to comment and let me know what you think, and then share this video on facebook or twitter, or wherever else you can so that others will have the same opportunity to do just a little bit of good today. Thanks!

Theresa I thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to you on your video here. By taking action in your journal and you helpful advice and video testimony, I am confident that you will realize your dreams and goals. I think I will watch that again!

Thanks Theresa! My assignment for today, I have goals, buit I plan on reviewing them today! :)

  • If you are anything least than being the best that
you can be, than you should not try at all because if you don't
plan on giving your 110% all, than you are just setting yourself
    up for failure

Ahhh Goals and Expectations. Great Stuff Theresa. Your right. The past is the past. I think it's important to set goals and let go of your expectations. I haven't attained my biggest goal yet, but I've been reminding myself of it for TWO YEARS. It is so close I can taste it. I let go of my expectations and I'm enjoying the process.

    Thanks Theresa

Thanks Theresa for sharing important info on setting goals and helping us all support each other on being accountable. I also feel like I am very organized (in my head) but definitely need to practice writing things down! Look forward to seeing how things align :)

Happy New Year Theresa, Great content in your presentation, i have wrote my goals down in the past but somehow they seemed to slip thru the cracks, I know after hearing this again that I need to focus and get back on track for 2010. I would love to work with you and be held accountable for our daily routine. Best Wishes and keep up the good work.

  • Hi Theresa!

I really enjoyed your video and I am looking forward to seeing how your journal is going. I think it is great what you are doing. I love the idea of waiting until the end of the day and keeping track of your accomplishments. I firmly believe in focusing on what you the good things that happen each day.

I can't wait to hear more!

Awesome, Theresa! I look forward to hearing about your journey and sharing in your successes! I have always been a goal setter, but have definitely learned better strategies and techniques along the way. I agree that putting things on paper puts your mind at ease ~ I even keep a pad of paper in my car, by my bed, in my purse....so when I have thoughts I don't want to forget I also don't have to obsess about them! :)

Sounds like you have a pretty powerful mind, so I can only imagine what great things this next year will bring with what I know about the power of written goals. Very exciting!

Theresa ... great video and what a great resolution for the New Year! I am the same exact way ... I keep everything in my head ... well, OK, and in Outlook too as far as calendar and schedule, but I have never written down anything as far as a journal or a plan for reaching a goal. I am proud of you, would you keep one for me too? :-) Just kiddin' ... I think its great hat you have decided to do this and I'm tempted to do the same myself, I'll let you know how that turns out! Nice journal too ... from Mark?

Very cool Theresa. Writing goals has certainly never been one of my strong points, but you've given me new incentive to get to work on it! One thing I did start doing only recently, is to write an Action List. That is, each day I give myself 2 to 5 things that I MUST DO in order to move my business forward. Not things like watch a webinar, or read a book, but the dirty hands stuff like, write a blog post, advance my autoresponder messages, set up a group phone session to explain my opportunity, call back these 5 prospects. I started this because I was really great at getting things set up to take off, but I was never taking off... never doing the actual things I needed to in order to get some things off the planning board and into the bank. I guess they call it paralysis of analysis. Anyway, thanks for the great presentation Theresa.

  • I love this Theresa,
you have inspired me to start writing things down,
I also have always kept it in my head
thanks you so much for sharing this post
    Jean
